Charles Holland c1560-c1600
Charles Holland, described as “from Leintwardine” appeared in the parish registers for Onibury from 1589 to 1593 and the short-lived “Richard, son of Charles Holland” in the Stokesay registers is assumed to belong to this family. One of his sons, John, remained in Onibury, but the others disappeared and may have returned to Leintwardine. The Leintwardine registers, from 1550 to 1925, have been deposited in the Hereford Record Office, but have not yet been examined.
